Risk management for the bitcoin you hold.
No single device carries the weight
Your keys sit on hardware from different vendors, plus your phone. A flaw at any one of them touches one key, and moving funds takes three.
Casa holds one key, and only one
The Casa Key co-signs when one of your keys is out of reach, and helps you recover if one is lost. It takes three keys to move funds, so Casa can never move them alone.
Sovereign Recovery
Your vault runs on open multisig standards. If Casa disappeared tomorrow, you could still recover your bitcoin with open-source wallets like Sparrow or Electrum.
How Sovereign Recovery worksOur advisory team, from day one
Premium ships a security kit with three hardware devices, faraday bags and tamper-evident bags. Our advisory team walks you through setup on a video call, and stays on hand for as long as you're a member.
Price exposure has a price.
IBIT's fee is 0.25% a year of everything you hold through it, accrued daily. Casa Premium is a flat yearly price, however much bitcoin you hold, and the bitcoin is yours.
$1,000,000
At $1,000,000, Premium costs $400 less a year than IBIT's fee, and the gap grows with your bitcoin.
| Feature | IBIT | Casa Premium |
|---|---|---|
| Exposure to bitcoin's price | Yes | Yes |
| What you own | Shares in a trust | The bitcoin itself |
| Who holds the keys | The trust's custodian | You, four of five |
| What you pay | 0.25% a year of your holdings | $2,100 a year, flat |
| As your bitcoin grows | The fee grows with it | The price stays the same |
IBIT's sponsor fee is 0.25% a year of the trust's net assets, accrued daily (iShares fact sheet, June 30, 2026). Premium is shown at its list price, before code TBL's 10% off. Figures are illustrative and not investment advice.
Bitcoin your family can actually inherit.
Bitcoin you hold yourself needs a plan your family can follow. Casa Inheritance gives them a guided path: recipients join with just an email, and their key stays dormant while you're alive.

There's nothing wrong with price exposure through an ETF. But if you want to control your bitcoin, self-custody works best when no single device or vendor carries all the weight.

“Before I change anything in my setup, I talk it through with my Advisor. Having an expert who knows my setup means I won't be the one who puts my bitcoin at risk.”

Frequently asked questions
How do I use code TBL?
Choose Get Premium, or Casa Standard in the plan panel, anywhere on this page and the code goes into your checkout for you, for 10% off. Checking out another way? Enter TBL in the discount field at checkout.
Why five keys instead of one?
So no single device, vendor or company carries all the weight. Your keys sit on hardware from different vendors plus your phone, and moving funds takes three of the five. A flaw at one vendor touches one key, and if you lose a key to damage, theft or a mistake, your funds stay safe and accessible.
Can Casa move my bitcoin?
No. Casa holds one of your vault's five keys, the Casa Key, and it takes three to move funds. The Casa Key co-signs when one of your keys is out of reach and helps you recover a lost one. It can never move funds on its own.
How is this different from holding an ETF?
An ETF gives you exposure to bitcoin's price through shares in a fund, and a custodian holds the bitcoin. With Casa you hold the bitcoin itself, in a vault where you control four of the five keys. Price exposure is a fine thing to have: self-custody is for holding the asset directly.
What does Premium include?
A 5-key vault; a security kit with three hardware devices, faraday bags and tamper-evident bags; a setup call with our advisory team, and access to the team for as long as you're a member; Casa Inheritance; Guardian Mode; priority video support; and up to four subaccounts to keep funds apart by purpose.
What's the difference between Casa Standard and Premium?
Standard secures your bitcoin with a 3-key vault and you bring your own hardware wallet. Premium upgrades to a 5-key vault with wider geographic distribution, ships hardware to your door, and adds priority support and shared accounts.
What happens to my bitcoin if Casa shuts down?
Nothing changes. You hold your own keys, and your vault uses open multisig standards, so you can recover your bitcoin with widely available wallets like Sparrow or Electrum, without Casa's involvement.
How does inheritance work?
You invite your recipients with just an email and assign them a key in your vault, which stays dormant while you're alive. If you pass away or can no longer manage your assets, they request a transfer in the Casa app, and Casa runs a six-month inactivity check before they can move the assets. If anyone requests access while you're alive, you have time to cancel the claim.
What does Guardian Mode do?
It's an optional verification step with Casa before every transaction leaves your vault: the Casa Key signs only after a video call with two Casa advisors. Turning it off takes the same kind of call and a 48-hour wait, so no one can switch it off under pressure.
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. You open a Casa Vault with an email address, with no ID or KYC. Premium ships hardware to you, so checkout asks for a shipping address. Buying and selling bitcoin in the app is separate: it runs through a regulated partner that verifies identity, and you never have to use it.
What about significant wealth, or a company's bitcoin?
Private Client adds a dedicated advisor, a 5-key or 6-key vault and a custom hardware kit for significant personal wealth. Casa for Organizations secures a company's bitcoin with collaborative custody. Book a call and our team will help you choose.
