Open your vault with an email address. No ID, no selfies, no documents.
Never rely on a single vendor
Casa Vaults are vendor-agnostic by design. Your keys sit on hardware from different vendors, so a flaw at any one of them can't move your funds.
The Casa Key
Your keys live in different places, so one may be out of reach when you need to sign. The Casa Key co-signs in its place, and helps you recover if a key is lost. It can never move funds on its own.
Sovereign Recovery
If Casa disappeared tomorrow, you could still recover your bitcoin with open-source wallets like Sparrow or Electrum.
How Sovereign Recovery worksSet up for success
Premium ships a security kit with three hardware devices, faraday bags, tamper-evident bags and everything else you need. Then our advisory team helps you set up your vault on a video call.
Inheritance, without a seed phrase in a will.
With do-it-yourself multisig, your family inherits the setup too. Casa Inheritance gives them a guided path instead: recipients join with just an email, and their key stays dormant while you're alive.

Separate your bitcoin by purpose.
Subaccounts split your vault into separate pools, each with its own balance and addresses, all secured by the same five keys. Keep your non-KYC bitcoin apart from exchange purchases, or give each goal its own account.
- Each has its own xpubs, so its addresses can't be linked on-chain to your other subaccounts, as long as you don't move funds between them.
- One set of keys secures them all, with no extra devices.
- Premium includes up to four subaccounts for bitcoin.
Five keys, one app.
Set up each key on a device you choose, sign with any three of the five, and let the Casa Key co-sign when one of yours is out of reach.

Frequently asked questions
How do I use code SESSIONS?
Choose Get Premium, or Casa Standard in the plan panel, anywhere on this page and the code goes into your checkout for you: 10% off your first year. Checking out another way? Enter SESSIONS in the discount field at checkout.
Do I need to verify my identity?
No. You open a Casa Vault with an email address, with no ID or KYC. Premium ships hardware to you, so checkout asks for a shipping address. Buying and selling bitcoin in the app is separate: it runs through a regulated partner that verifies identity, and you never have to use it.
What is the Casa Key for?
Convenience and recovery. Your keys live in different places, so one may be out of reach when you need to sign: the Casa Key can co-sign in its place. If a key is lost, it helps you recover. It's one of your vault's five keys and it takes three to move funds, so Casa can never move them on its own.
How does inheritance work?
You invite your recipients with just an email and assign them a key in your vault, which stays dormant while you're alive. If you pass away or can no longer manage your assets, they request a transfer in the Casa app, and Casa runs a six-month inactivity check before they can move the assets. If anyone requests access while you're alive, you have time to cancel the claim.
What are subaccounts?
Separate pools of bitcoin in your vault, each with its own balance and addresses, all secured by the same keys. Each has its own xpubs, so its addresses can't be linked on-chain to your other subaccounts as long as you don't move funds between them. Premium includes up to four.
Why keys from different vendors?
So no single vendor can put your bitcoin at risk. Casa Vaults are vendor-agnostic by design: with keys on hardware from different vendors, a firmware or supply chain flaw at one of them touches one key, and it takes three to move funds.
What's in the Premium security kit?
Three hardware devices, plus faraday bags, tamper-evident bags, stickers and everything else you need to set up your vault. Then our advisory team helps you set it up on a video onboarding call.
What does Guardian Mode do?
It's an optional verification step with Casa before every transaction leaves your vault: the Casa Key signs only after a video call with two Casa advisors. Turning it off takes the same kind of call and a 48-hour wait, so no one can switch it off under pressure.
What happens to my bitcoin if Casa shuts down?
Nothing changes. You hold your own keys, and your vault uses open multisig standards, so you can recover your bitcoin with widely available wallets like Sparrow or Electrum, without Casa's involvement.
What's the difference between Casa Standard and Premium?
Standard secures your bitcoin with a 3-key vault and you bring your own hardware wallet. Premium upgrades to a 5-key vault with wider geographic distribution, ships hardware to your door, and adds priority support and shared accounts.
We hold your hand, not your keys.
